THE TAKEDA YOUNG ENTREPRENEURSHIP AWARD
The Takeda Young Entrepreneurship Award praises young entrepreneurs or entrepreneurial individuals who challenge technological or social needs in the real world. The Award places high value on innovative individuals who try to realize bold and clear-sighted ideas to solve issues based on technological or social needs.
The Takeda Foundation believes that the challenging activities of young individuals trying to address real technological and social needs will lead to the creation of goods and services that enhance the well-being of people throughout the world, which is the mission of the Foundation

2018/11/06 The Takeda Foundation announces the Awardees of the Takeda Young Entrepreneurship Award 2018.
2017/11/06 The Takeda Foundation announces the Awardees of the Takeda Young Entrepreneurship Award 2017. This year, the Foundation received 320 applications from 74 countries. Awardees were selected by a Selection Committee (Chair, Dr. Kunihiro Asada, Director of VLSI Design and Education Center and Professor, the University of Tokyo) consisting of outside intellectuals.
2016/11/09 The Takeda Foundation announced the Awardees of the Takeda Young Entrepreneurship Award 2016 including the Best Entrepreneur Award, the selection committee special award and four Entrepreneur Awards. The highest award, the Best Entrepreneur Award goes to Ms. Sana Talmoudi(Graduate Student, Tohoku University), Tunisia who has developed the Eyes on Sign Project, Transportation Infrastructure Evaluation System. The Workshop and Awarding Ceremony will be held on February 4, 2016.
2015/11/05 The Takeda Foundation announced the Awardees of the Takeda Young Entrepreneurship Award 2015 including the Best Entrepreneur Award and five Entrepreneur Awards The highest award, the Best Entrepreneur Award goes to Mr. Mojtaba Radfa of Shole Aria Co., Isfahan Science & Technology Town, Isfahan, Iran who has developed the Aria E-book for Education. The Workshop and Awarding Ceremony will be held on February 6, 2016.
2015/7/31 The application period for the Takeda Young Entrepreneurship Award closed at the end of July. Seventy-six people from twenty-five countries registered to apply, and forty-one people from eighteen countries actually submitted their application forms. We appreciate the efforts of the applicants to challenge the Takeda Young Entrepreneurship Award. The proposals are now in the selection process; the selection results will be disclosed in early November.
2014/07/21 Mr. Mandai recived his Ph.D from Delft University of Technology, and joined Apple. Finally I have acquired Ph.D degree in Delft University of Technology this July. I would like to say thank you to everyone who supports me in any ways including the Takeda Foundation. After the difficult and long time thinking where to go, I have decided to work in Apple. Inc as an engineer in an image sensor field. I believe that I did the correct choice giving me industrial experiences and the connection with excellent people there. This will be the first big step toward my future goal. I appreciate the sprit of the Takeda Foundation and hope I can come back in front of you.
